Who we are

Pluply is a private messaging app focused on security and privacy. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and how we protect your information.

Data we collect

We collect: (a) email, password stored exclusively as a cryptographic hash (never in plain text), and display name at sign-up; (b) content you voluntarily send, such as messages, images, audio and stories; (c) basic technical data such as IP address, device type and browser, used solely for security and service operation. We do not collect phone numbers.

Message protection

All communications between your device and our servers use TLS encryption (HTTPS). Messages are stored on infrastructure with encryption at rest. Access to message content is restricted and occurs only in specific situations: reviewing content reported by other users, or complying with a court order issued by a competent authority.

How we use your data

Your data is used to authenticate your access, deliver messages in real time, process abuse reports, apply plan limits and prevent unlawful activity. We do not sell, rent or share your data with advertisers or third parties for commercial purposes.

Disclosure to authorities

Pluply may disclose user data when legally required, pursuant to a duly reasoned court order issued by a competent authority. To the extent permitted by law, we will notify the affected user before disclosure, unless prohibited by the order itself.

Third parties

Payments, when available, are processed by a specialized external provider under its own privacy policy. Our servers use Cloudflare infrastructure, subject to that company's privacy policies.

Retention

Messages and files are stored while the account exists. Stories are automatically deleted after 24 hours. You may request full deletion of your account and all associated data at any time via the contact below.

Your rights

You have the right to: confirm processing, access your data, correct it, request anonymization, portability, deletion or revocation of consent. To exercise any of these rights, write to contato@Pluply.

This policy may be updated at any time. The current version, with update date, will always be available on this page.
